According to a friend of mine who knows, vaccines will make the animal, adult or
pup, feel like "H-E-L-L" for up to a couple of weeks. I so wish that you had
not allowed the vet to win this one. I can't imagine how bad the pup feels with
the double wammy of the surgery and the vaccine. We all live and learn though.
After researching vaccines, I would not even allow the rabies vaccine to be
given at the same time as the other vaccines on the rescues that I've had. For
the future pups in your life, please do some research on the subject.
