Just a reminder that there's one week left to take a chance on winning one, or several of the 75 prizes, donated to help our friend Dru.

Today's economy has hit everyone hard - even our good friend, Drusilla. For those that have been in the rat rescue community for many years, I'm sure you'll agree that Dru has always been the first one to step up to help anyone in need. Due to lack of work for many months, now it is time to "pay it forward" and extend the same kindness and generosity that she has always shown to others.
We are having a raffle to raise funds for Drusilla, and the raffle will end on December 1st at which time the winning numbers will be drawn. The prizes will be awarded on-down-the line .... the first ticket drawn will get first choice of all the prizes. Second ticket drawn gets second choice... drawing until all prizes are awarded.
With the upcoming holiday season there are many wonderful prizes that would make terrific gifts!

From: lkhorseplay1 <lkhorseplay1@...> Subject: (rats) CL - Babies need homes, Southern WI To: ratlist@yahoogroups.com Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 2:30 PM
There is someone in the area with a litter of ratties that need homes...I don't know all the details, I know there are about 12 babies, some black/white, some tan/white, some with unique markings and I guess about 7-8 weeks old...the girl who has them says people have inquired and not shown up to see them/pick them up, etc and says she may have to turn them over to the local humane society to be adopted out. I don't know how the local humane societies deal with rats, but thought I'd post the information in case anyone in the northern IL/Southern WI area could help. Email me privately for her contact info.
Three PEW (albino) male adult(?) mice used for a TV gig are available for adoption by end of November, early December. Please reply to me privately as soon as possible if you can give them a home (or foster).
Am re-posting to let you know we now have 72 Super prizes :) So many have stepped up to help Drusilla, won't you consider participating in the raffle? It only takes 1 ticket to win ... and all prizes will be awarded. Original post below.
Many thanks!

2 free Rats. They are both female. I am getting rid of them because I do not have time to give them the attention they deserve. If you are not familier with Rats, you will be happy to find out they are very friendly and smart pets. (they do not bite like hamsters and gerbils do). Email with questions or contact info. -Thanks
