Description

Dedicated to the creation of a new breed for ceremonial releases. Breeders will focus on the things that really matter for ceremonial release such as beauty, flying skill, size, tameness, homing ability, take-off quality, stamina, and more.

While attempting to gain good features, we'll also try to lose some of the racing pigeon's bad features such as homing drive that makes older birds dart away too soon, big muscled sprinter looks, loud wing clapping that scares on-lookers and ruins photographs, and facial features that prevent people from seeing them as the symbols they could be.

This is a place to gather and talk about genetics, breeding techniques, breeding goals, competition, selection, and more.
