A volunteer goes to the shelter on Mondays to check on the dogs & can do temperament testing for you.  A volunteer goes on Tuesdays to pick up dogs and take them to the vet.  If you are not yet approved and are interested in helping Floyd County animals, please get approval right away!  MOST OF THE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE EACH WEEK.
