Don't dispose your "disposable" pets! Our group is for placing rodents and small pets in loving homes. We have several experienced rescuers as members and many pet-knowledgable people. Please drop in to discuss your pet, find a new pet, or locate a new home for yours. We promote the adoption of rodents as pets and try to educate against the notion of "disposable pets" and purchasing from pet stores. Pocket pets are wonderful friends but there is still an amazing overpopulation of needy and homeless rodents.

We accept posts for all rodents (rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, jerboas, jirds, guinea pigs, dormice, chinchillas, degus, and etc.), we also accept posts on other small pets such as ferrets, flying squirrels, sugar gliders, and rabbits. Discussion of other pets is welcome, friendly discussion is encouraged on any pet related topic.

Please list your location in your posts if you are listing animals or transports. Please keep adoption fees reasonable too. Animals being clearly sold for profit will be removed.

Many of our members are also rescuers listed on http://www.petfinder.com and we strongly encourage the use of the site as a resource to find a new rodent friend and to support the good work of rescuers.
