The Rosecomb Bantam Federation elections are coming up this year. The
Election Commissioner is Mike Hughes. Any member in good standing may
run for officer and should turn in their name to Mike Hughes:

rosankycattle@.... Our bylaws require us to hold every two years.
The bylaws read as follows: The Election Commissioner's duties are
to send to each member of the Federation, not later than Sept. 15th of
the election year, the nominating ballot for Officers. The ballot may
be included in the Federation's News Letter. All nominations are to
close Oct. 15th. The ballot shall be prepared as soon as possible
after Oct. 15th with the names of the nominees for the various offices
who have agreed to serve if elected. Closing date for the election
shall be Dec. 1st. Officers shall take on the duties of their office
Jan. 1st after elected. The election Commissioner shall be appointed
by the President and shall be reimbursed for stationary and postage
used for the election. The Election Commissioner will be in charge of
all bylaws or amendments vote ballot counting by tally votes and will
send ballots and tally to secretary/treasurer for record keeping.
We have the President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Election
Commissioner, Publicity Director, and 7 District Directors job open
and anyone in good membership standing may nominate themselves for the
position. Please contact Mike if you are interested in running for
an office and you must submit your name in writing or by phoning Mike.
Our Rosecomb Bantam Federation National is just around the corner on
November 1st and 2nd in Farmington, New Mexico with the Four Corner
Poultry Club hosting our show. Our donators have donated the
following so far: Four Corner Poultry Show four trophies and $200.00,
Bill Patterson 200.00 plus four rosettes, Steven Beaty 200.00 plus 10
coffee mugs, Bennett family 150.00, Lonnie McAfee 100.00, and Aaron
Hamilton (Broken Feather)65.00, Rick Hare 100.00. We are still taking

Secretary has told us that all the rosecombs will be in large fowl
cages and judged first thing Saturday morning. You can contact David
