I am sooo excited, my 1/2 Andalucian, Soldero is a daddy as of about 4:00 am today!!!! Which makes my Belgian mare a great granny!!!
I got the call this am from the owner of the Quarter Horse mare he was bred to, and she is the mother of a bay colt foal! She had him out in the rain and mud, even though they had provided her a shelter. Apparently she rejected him at first, but they rubbed the placenta all over the rainy wet foal, and she started to lick, and feed him! I will take the kids to see him tomorrow, and take some pictures!!!!
