This list is set up to promote and work to insure humane treatment of monkeys and apes, and other kinds of animals of simian nature in general. The list is open to the voices of concerned individuals with any topics of interest or concerns about primate organizations or topics concerning non-human primates as a whole. Discussions on organizational affairs or processes are welcomed as well as the sharing of experiences, news or other educational material that pertains to the well-being of non-human primates. Advise given is given on an individual basis and should not be construed as replacing that of veterinarians, legal officials or primatologists unless so stated. This list is OPEN so remember that when discussing controversial subjects.
