Samsmiles is a warm, friendly, fun list for Samoyed lovers everywhere. We're a sociable, good-natured, easy-going group with a family type atmosphere. We behave at least as well as our dogs - no snarling, snapping, or growling at fellow listmembers is allowed! We welcome breeders, show people, rescue people, pet owners, and anyone else interested in Sammies. You don't need to own a Sammy to join.

We talk about our Sammies and their antics, tell stories, ask questions, share our knowledge, and just enjoy ourselves. This list is unique in the sense of community among our list members. If you'd like to belong to a list where we support one another, encourage one another, and share one another's joys and sorrows, this is YOUR list!

We don't allow flaming, personal attacks or rudeness of any kind, or "laying down the law" to fellow list members. There are lists where people compete with each other and are there to push their opinions and attack anyone who disagrees. That doesn't happen on Samsmiles. Don't cram your opinions down other peoples' throats, offer them gently and respectfully, and realize that people of good will are entitled to different opinions. We'll all have a lot more fun this way. :-)

This isn't intended to discourage discussion. It is intended to ensure that the problems that have damaged or even destroyed other mailing lists don't start up here. It's much easier to say what kind of behavior is welcome in the first place, rather than letting trouble get started and then trying to repair the damage.
