Helping a Cause 4 Paws was derived from the observation of a few life-long animal rescuers who noted that there are few central locations of resources for animal rescues and shelters. Specifically, it was observed that the sharing of supplies and information regarding transports, grants and other resources was not common place, even between neighboring rescues. Since many animal rescuers have little time to research these programs, Helping a Cause 4 Paws steps in to provide a "one-stop" resource for the experienced rescuer and the interested animal lover who just wants to help. We do this by providing a forum for information, transports, neighboring shelter/rescues, and available/needed supplies necessary for animal rescuers.

The SHELTER SWAP project is a recently developed group. The word about this program is spreading to more and more groups. Nationwide, people like yourself are taking part in Shelter Swap.

All information will be available to you and everyone who is a member of this FREE group. How does it work? Great Question!

Shelters, Rescues and Sanctuaries THAT REPRESENT ALL KINDS OF ANIMALS will post to this Group their organization's specific supply NEEDS as well as post supplies your group may HAVE to spare. Quite often, as luck would have it, some shelters seem to get an over abundance of one supply and yet not enough of another. Hmmm... Murphy's Law? It is Shelter Swap's desire to match up those NEEDS and WANTS.

Please pass the word to other animal groups all over the Nation who have a genuine interest in making Shelter Swap work. On both ends...NEED and HAVE.
