Re: [SilverFoxNews] NSFRC website   Message List

The Website was supposed to be closed way before this mess started! The problems were that a 2 year old was put back when the virus issue was taken care of. And, the Website Committee also lost the ability to do updates at that time.

I have requested several times for the site to be updated, and the webmaster was too busy with other website and his job(s). Because of that, the Website Committee decided to just close the site temporarily, as the information on it was too outdated. And, the forms that could be accessed were incorrect, and had the WRONG address to where they were to be mailed.

There will be a full Website Committee Report in the soon to be released National Silver Fox Rabbit Club Newsletter for June, 2009.

Again, closing the site temporarily, had absolutely nothing to do with the current issues in the club....and, it's not officially, "closed", it's just waiting for us to get up to date records lined up to replace the outdated ones.

I have no idea why anyone would think that the two issues were related. That is a Committee within our club, and the re-election is for the Executive Board members, not the Committee members!

Many are wondering why the website has been shut down....

The Club has been asked for full transparency and there allowed to be a open
forum about the election - shutting down the website due to the reelection
would be a direct violation of ARBA's request for transparency. I think it
is more that they just had so many problems with it and not sure if they
have anybody to work on it - I was asked to help and replied - said I would
but have not heard a response from NFSRC.

Is there anyone out there that knows why the site was completely shut down
Do they have someone contracted to rebuild a new one?

Why is the Silver Fox News group not posting any official information to its
members?
