Canine Freestyle is a wonderful Dog & Handler sport and artform that will enhance your relationship with your dog while keeping you both physically & mentally fit. Our Vision is to enhance the teamwork and enjoyment between dogs and their people. Our roots began Southern Arizona; home to the beautiful Sonoran Desert, and thus our name. In the past 5 years our freestyle family has grown to include six continents, dozens of individual countries and 47 US states! The Sonoran Canine Freestylers Yahoo site brings the sizzle of the Southwest to the rest of the world! This exciting group has been defined by many as "the best canine freestyle training resource available online"! Sonoran Canine Freestylers has created many firsts for Canine Freestyle. The International Canine Freestyle College was born from this list and will soon have its own website at www.k9freestylecollege.com. Visiting Professors discuss a variety of topics relevant to Canine Freestyle. This internet college opened to members of this list in April of 2005. And we are having great fun while learning a new skill! The idea for the first tools for freestyle teachers began on this list and the dream came to fruition in May '06.
