"I encourage that each pet owner ask for an adoption fee to cover bringing the pet's shots and medical records up to date and to encourage spaying and neutering. At no time should the adoption fee be more than $150.00 non- rescule related pets, unless the group owner has approved a larger fee. Over 12,000 dogs and cats are killed in South Carolina each year due to pet overpopulation. Our goal is to help reduce these numbers by helping pets and families find each other."
