Hello, my name is Ron Abernathy and I live in the interior of Alaska in
Fairbanks. I currently live with 4 Otterhounds, 2 Scottish Deerhounds
and 2 Border Collies. I am active in agility, conformation, obiedience
and have started some herding. I accidently came across this breed and
was initially drawn to the resemblence to my Otterhounds. After reading
more about them I see there are some similarities and many differences.
As in OHs the SRO does not seem to be for everyone, I'm hoping to learn
more about this intersting dogs and hopefully someday will have the
opportunity to actually meet one.
