We used a few times ago, a French insecticide against the red lice:
Ocepou (VIRBAC)
Since April 2007, the French health authorities removed the marketing
of all substances veterinary surgeons containing of the carbaryl, of
which Océpou.
The carbaryl is an active substance of plant health product which
presents an insecticidal effect.
There currently exists on the market, in Spain, a comparable
veterinary insecticide: INSECTORNIS (LATAC).
It contains however only 50% of carbaryl, Océpou contained 85% of
them.
