could my male be a spanish timrado?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2973 of 2984 |
I purchesed a male through a breeder. he says he is an american
singer. i like canries who are more natural looking and this one seems
identical to the spanish timrados.
Last month i got a female who is more yellow green. i would like to
breed them. they are very tame.
Now im noting the female is STARTING TO RIP THE paper on the bottom of
the cage...is she starting to think of nesting?
Is it not cool to let THEM BROOD RIGHT NOW.
Thry give me SUCH INSPIRATIOM

Yes, it is too early to breed in monterey, in my opinion. others may disagree. Keep the birds on natural light hours and wait til mid- February if you can....
