Herding breeds (ONLY DOGS THAT WORK!): Border Collie, Catahoula, Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle dog, Australian Kelpie, English Shepherd, typical herding farm/ranch dogs. Guardian breeds: Akbash, Anatolian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, Maremma, typical LS guardian dogs. Mixes are OKAY as long as they are working dogs, NO PETS, PERFORMANCE or SHOW DOGS/LITTERS unless they are/from PROVEN workers, particularly LGD mixes.

This is a great opportunity for rescues to post their WORKING rescue dogs and get them in the correct circumstance! Post Topics include: FOR SALE: working dog or puppies or livestock, WANTED: Dog or Puppy , STOCKDOG SUPPLIES FOR SALE or WANTED (from books to whatever stockdog related items).

This list is for the for real working stockdogs. I don’t know how to make it any plainer.
