BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION (BSL)

Breed specific legislation is exactly what sounds like...regulation of your right to own or, in many cases, not own a dog based solely on the breed or "type" of dog, not your responsibility as an owner.

Ojectives:

• Help dogs in need and the people who care about them.
• Educate Pit Bull owners so that unpleasant accidents are avoided, but Pit Bull ownership enjoyed.
• Promote responsible Pit Bull ownership and positive leadership.
• Continue to learn about the breed.
• Raise a loud voice against those who promote, support, or participate in the abuse and cruelty of animals.
