Description
This is a group of equine lovers & protectors who want to do something to put a STOP to the equine cruelty, abuse & neglect as seen at Sugarcreek Livestock Auction in Sugarcreek Ohio EVERY WEEK! This is the auction house owned by the Infamous Leroy "Happy HorseKiller" Baker who is pictured at right. There are laws against taking in sick, starved, lame or injured animals at auctions but is done all the time here and we aim to do something about it. The State Department of Agriculture oversees all livestock auctions in the state of Ohio but tells this group owner the Ohio State Dept. of AG has NO JURISDICTION over the cruelty violations! Group owner says BS and begs to disagree. The Ohio State Agricultural Laws are such that if ANY Dept of Ag employess suspects ANY laws are being violated at an auction house (or feedlot), the Department of Ag is DUTY-BOUND to INITIATE an investigation and even call in the Sheriffs Dept & the Ohio Humane Society to assist. We will be working here pressuring the Ohio State Department of Agriculture in hopes of TEACHING THEM A LESSON in their own laws and compelling them to do their job to STOP Ohio State Livestock Auction-House Cruelty, then on to NH, PA., and other states with similar problems. Together WE CAN make a difference, one state at a time,...and it STARTS with REPORTING cruelty, abuse & neglect and INSISTING on prosecution, and we aim to do just that, if we have to SUE the sob's at the State Dept. of Ag to get them to do their job - we will do it!
*Be sure to see the related link for a petition to stop the cruelty at Sugarcreek Auction.
