Jennie -

I leave my babies with mom longer too... but then my does LOVE being moms and
enjoy having their babies with them. Might be time for a new doe if she's not
being a good mom. I intentionally avoid the line that has the skitzo tendencies
in it because that quality is not something I want in my Tans.

Just speaking about my own personal practices, I let my does wean their babies which is usually around 10 -12 weeks.  Typically I'll keep the litter together...
