I’ll
throw this out there – if anybody would like her we have an empty stall
(since Scarlet’s in Virginia) so I could go get her and keep her for a few
weeks if needed.

The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt
should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and
controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome
become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public
assistance." --

"Anyway, the mare is on a broker lot; this broker will
NOT sell to the public, he deals only at auctions and with kill buyers.
Another Chance 4 Horses [the rescue I work with] has a working relationship
with the guy where they list the horses in hopes of sparing them that final
ride. In order to buy the mare, you do have to go through AC4H; there is a
$25 fee and a form to fill out, but the horse belongs strictly to the one
buying her. |
