This group is for the posting and discussion of all proposed laws in Tennessee, whether local or state-wide, which would affect all animal owners, but especially pet owners.

In several recent court decisions, animals have been determined to be property, meaning that owners should be protected from unlawful prohibitions and seizure under the Constitution of the United States. The animal rights movement seeks to ban all forms of animal ownership, and most factions are using incremental laws to slowly tighten the noose on animal ownership.

All new members require approval and will be moderated. Flaming will not be tolerated, and any posts promoting or advancing the animal rights agenda will be removed and the member banned.

Please post information related only to Tennessee, whether city, county or state, or to federal issues such as PAWS...no forwarding or cross-posting of issues with other states.
