A new open-minded group for the study of abnormal metabolic function in the horse - hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, all forms of equine metabolic syndrome and cushingoid state, and of course laminitis.

Our aim is not only to discuss the latest research and thought on appropriate nutrition, management, and conventional veterinary medicine, but to actively seek new effective treatments from other potential sources, such as herbal medicine.

Thought-provoking contributions, hypotheticals, and observations will be welcomed, and treated with respect.
