Hi folks -- it has been requested that I post a photo of the whippet
I will be receiving the weekend of May 20.  Sooo. . . I put a photo
of him on the "our dogs" page of our web site.  The site takes a
couple minutes to load, mostly because of all the photos of our
lovely
daughter, so please be patient!

If any of you are interested in helping transport the little guy to
me on May 20 and/or 21, the following is the route:

Salisbury MD to Baltimore MD (~2.3 hours, 116 miles) - filled

Baltimore to Hancock MD (~1.5 hours, 99 miles)

Hancock MD to Somerset PA (~1.5 hours, 81 miles)

Somerset PA to Wheeling WV (~1.75 hours, 109 miles)

Wheeling WV to Columbus OH (~1.75 hours, 127 miles)

Columbus OH to Richmond IN (~1.5 hours, 106 miles) - filled

Richmond IN to Crawfordsville IN (~2 hours, 120 miles) - filled

Times and mileage are according to MapBlast.

My name is Stephanie Russell and I used to be subscribed to
a couple other whippet mailing lists, but life got in the way.

I have a whippet, Dundee, who will be 2 on May 22.  You can
see him and my other hounds at:

I also have 2 greyhounds.  Cody is 9 1/2 and has osteosarcoma.
Tasha is 7  ( she'll be 8 on 6/30).

Oh, I better not forget the 10 year old Cockatiel, Sweetie.  Or

My husband and I also have a 16 year old daughter and an 11
year old son, so life is very busy in the Russell household.

I'm happy to finally be back on a whippet mailing list and one

The 7 year old male we have did well on the Delta Dash ride
from Virginia to Georgia.  Much as we love him, I probably would
