The object of this lively and friendly list is to provide reliable and accurate tortoise information through sharing experience, expertise, questions and comments. Although primarily for tortoise keepers in the UK, input from tortoise keepers throughout the world is valued and encouraged. Tortoises are the great survivors, but the future of many of these animals depends on the love and care of people like us. For this reason this group does not support the trade in wild caught tortoises or dealers who are involved in this trade.
