This event is called Big Air; where a dog runs & jumps of the dock to fetch a toy. A measurement is taken on how far the dog jumped. It is a fun new sport!


The Tri-County Obedience Club is a dog club in central Maine and this Yahoo! group is intended for members and interested parties to keep in touch with meetings, activities, club happenings, and what's happening with us and our dogs (not necessarily in that order!). While we are not affiliated with the AKC, we do primarily follow its by-laws and principles.

We meet the third Monday of each month in the Fairfield/Waterville area. Our goals are simple: to have fun with our dogs and to be role models for other dog owners.

Our club is small, but growing and we need folks who love dogs as much as we do to help keep us strong! Right now we host the Pet Expo, currently held in Wilton (Fairfield or Skowhegan in previous years), which is a fair with vendors such as an animal communicator, pet supplies, rescue organizations, AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, Therapy Dog International testing, and more! We host monthly activities for our membership.
