Sulcata tortoises to Box turtles to Red ear sliders, that's what our group is all about. This group is for the discussion of turtle and tortoise care. Topics of housing, diet, lighting, health or anything else to do with turtles and tortoises are welcome and we even welcome friendly chit chat. Please join in and share your knowledge, questions and experiences. Don't be afraid to ask questions, there are many knowledgable people on this list that are happy to help. We love to talk about tortoises and turtles. You can visit our home page and our photo albums at: www.turtlerescues.org and if you're looking to adopt you can find the link to our adoption application there as well. The information on these pages in no way is to replace the expert advice of a good reptile vet. Please use the information received as guidance only and always refer to your vet for any medical care.

Pictured is our mascot Scooter as she came in and how she looked five years later. Still looking good. Amazing what a little good care will do.
