This list has been started to discuss Maine Coon health issues -- this list is UNMODERATED. The list owner requests that participants try to be civil when discussing hot topics, but will not step in or remove members unless the direst circumstances occur. Members, please wear your flame proof suits if required, and try to remember that passion does not necessarily equal personal attack. There is a ongoing database for Maine Coons tested for the MybPC Mutation, as well as a *NEW* database for Maine Coons tested for SMA. Submissions will need to be submitted to Liz Hansen at liz@chemicoons.com, or posted to the list where the group of list members who have moderator status will gather the results and input the information into the database.
