This is a list for members of the veterinary profession (including veterinarians, veterinary technicians and veterinary students) to discuss animal rights issues. The list is administered by the Association of Veterinarians for Animal Rights (AVAR), but AVAR membership is not required to join or participate in this list.

All the standard rules of decorum applicable to similar professional veterinary forums such as NOAH or VIN will apply. Only individuals who contact the moderator of this group will be granted access to this discussion group. If it becomes evident that a particular person is being disrespectful, disruptive or otherwise interfering with the goals of the forum, then the moderator reserves the right to ban that person from participation.
