Jack and Wendy Volhard have created this list for those teaching, or learning the Volhard Motivational Method. Discussions on Volhard Training the Natural Way will include, and are open to: puppy training, obedience, agility, aggression and it’s management, nutrition and it’s influence on behavior, competition titles, and anything else that has to do with our companion dogs. Those who have been to Top Dog Camp and students from the various schools that instruct the Red Book, will find an on going "Camp" here.

If you are a general student of dog training, please bear in mind that Volhard Motivational Method (VMM) is the starting point for all conversations. It should be noted that we do not desire to get embattled in comparing or contrasting other modes of training. If you are interested in this type of discussion the Internet has many such groups and we encourage you to research them for that type of information.

If you are new to the VMM We highly recommend you obtain a copy of Dog Training for Dummies 2nd ed by Jack and Wendy Volhard, and or Living Living with your Dog 2 DVD set. Both Jack and Wendy are prolific authors and you may see other publications referenced on the list.
