The World Chelonian Trust (WCT) is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the survival of all tortoises and freshwater turtles both in their natural habitat and in captivity. http://www.chelonia.org

In this community we will provide information, guidance and a forum to individuals and organizations to further the successful maintenance and propagation of captive populations. Subjects here will address all species and will include , but not be limited to diet, habitat, turtle and tortoise veterinary issues, breeding, incubation and general care for both advanced keepers and beginners.

Regardless of whether you care for a Red Ear Slider, Star Tortoise, Box Turtle, Cooter, Radiated Tortoise, Greek Tortoise, Sulcata Tortoise, Russian Tortoise, Painted Turtle, Snapping Turtle, any of the many Asian turtle species or any of the many other turtle and tortoise species you will find people of a like mind who are willing to help here.
