The BOU has published the first papers from our 2008 conference on The Impacts
of Non-native Species. We hope to have the full proceedings available in October
(just a few being finalized).

The papers are free to view at www.BOUPROC.net and cover many topics including
the Ruddy Duck issue, parakeets, non-native mammals in seabird colonies,
non-native mammals and plants in UK Overseas Territories, deer,non-native
waterbirds, Eagle Owl, non-native species and the British List and some policy
items from NGOs and (the then) government.

The proceedings of the BOU's 2008 Autumn Scientific Meeting are supported by the
British Trust for Ornithology, Defra, Joint Nature Conservation Committee and
Natural England.
