I wonder of there is anyone who will help or advise regarding the
protection of nesting Peregrines in Kingswinford? You may remeber the
tv reports and the newspaper articles last year that described the
attack on Peregrine nest both here in a quarry at Kingswinford and also
in Cannock. I was aware that the birds were there from when I did my
tetrad survey for the BTO atlas, but was really sad and felt guilty
that I had not done anything to protect them when the report was made.
How can we protect these birds if they return this year? Is anyone in
a position to help me or advise me about this? I live next to the
quarry but cannot be there every day as I teach three days a week. If
there is anyone who can contribute to this, please get in touch asap
because these birds may return and they should soon be seen in the area.
