Hello,

I remember the great flocks of Starlings coming into roost in Birmingham City
Centre every evening during the 1970s. There used to be great clouds of
Starlings making a tremendous racket.

I know many of the buildings are covered in netting now to prevent birds
roosting but what else keeps them away and is it that the Starling population
has declined that much?
