Hello all,

FRI 6 JUL 07

Powerful "November" winds. River very high.

1 female & 3 immature Mandarin, 1 Raven, 1 Kingfisher, 41 Sand
Martin, 10 Swift, 2 Red-Legged Partridge.

I would guess that the immature Mandarins were over a month old and
may be remainder of the brood of 7 that I saw near Hampton Loade
(Shrops) on 2nd June.

Nash End: 2 Kestrel.

SUN 8 JUL 07

Much better weather but remaining quiet.

1 male Reed Warbler (very unusual), 5 Raven, 22 Sand Martin.

Nash End: 3 adult or sub-adult Lapwing on occasional breeding field.

Hopefully, more in a month or so.
