The Western Riding Club was established in Boise, Idaho, in 1941, and as such is one of the oldest clubs still in existence in the Treasure Valley. The Western Riding Club is a family oriented, horseback riding club. Activities throughout the year provide recreational, educational, and social activities for every member of the family.
A clubhouse and arena provide a gathering place both for the monthly meetings, held the first Saturday evening of every month, and riding activities such as play days and an Easter Egg hunt on horseback in the spring.
Highlights of the year are three hosted summer overnight camping trips held in different locations around southwest Idaho, where we enjoy riding new trails and a leisurely weekend with our friends.
Each December there is a Christmas "banquet" at the club house.
The Western Riding Club is also an active partner with the Idaho Horse Council and Idaho Horse Board, and work together for trails preservation.
