Welcome to Wisconsin Citizens Against Puppy Mills

This group is dedicated to stopping cruelty and neglect to our companion animals through avocation, awareness and information.

Our primary goal is to raise public awareness of the Pet Store, Internet Breeder, Puppy Mill Connection and to help people understand that they must STOP buying puppies from pet stores, flea markets, or through classified ads. We strongly promote adoption through local shelters, rescues, and humane societies.

The group's main topics on this forum will be Puppy Mills and Pet Stores. Other related animal welfare topics are welcome. Activities may also include letter writing campaigns to protect animals, coordinating educational booths, and distributing literature at dog-related events.

Peaceful demonstrations are held each month at pet stores that sell live animals within the Milwaukee and surrounding suburban areas. We welcome anyone who cares about the well-being of animals to join our educational demonstrations.

Guidelines: Please be courteous in all posts so everyone will enjoy the list and not be afraid to ask questions and/or make comments. No Growling, fighting, or biting allowed. Our list is never moderated, but it is monitored.
