I believe I've forgotten to post the upcoming xolo activities to this list! Friday, July 25th will be date for XCUSA Regional and National Shows in Oregon City, OR (just outside of Portland). Also this day we will hold the Parade of Companions and Rescues! XoloRescueUSA will have a booth as well. To top it all off, we will be having our 10th annual Nekkid Dog Party!!! This is a pot luck/socializing event. Most of us on the west coast have meet by attending these parties, but folks have attended from across the country and Canada! If you are in the area and would like to attend (this is the high lite of my life every year) please let me know and i will give you the details! email me at GaryArmitageCC@...
PLEASE be aware that the gal who organized the auction to help Teresa' Moreu's cresteds is in Sweden for the World Show until about July 9. She cannot answer email inquiries about items you may have won until after that date, and the donors cannot ship your items until they receive payment confirmation and shipping addresses from her. PLEASE be patient. Your inquiries will be answered when she gets back to France and your items will be shipped as quickly as possible after the donors are informed who won the items.

As most of you are aware Chinese Crested breeder Teresa Moreu of Castafiore Cresteds in Spain was tragically found dead just over 2 weeks ago from a brain hemorrhage. Whilst her dogs are being loved & cared for at present by her friend Manel, and Eukanuba has donated enough food for a couple of months, there is no money coming in to pay their immediate costs - electricity, water & veterinary bills etc.
We have organised a series of auctions on Ebay to help to raise money to cover these everyday costs for Teresa's dogs until something more secure can be arranged.
There are some WONDERFUL items up for auction - some Crested items, some general dog items, beautiful jewellery & more.
A list of these items, which have been VERY GENEROUSLY donated by Teresa's friends across the world, can be seen by clicking this link:
For those of you new to xolos, or just becoming interested in the breed, I want to announce a wonderful opportunity for you to meet the breed! XCUSA (Xoloitzcuintle club USA) will be holding their annual Regional and National Show events on July 25th-27th in a park in Oregon city, Oregon (just south of Portland). Xolo Rescue USA will be holding it's 2nd annual booth all 3 days at this event. In addition, our 10th annual pacific northwest Xolo Party will be held on Friday, july 25th as well. There is also an opportunity to enter XCUSA's Parade of Companions and and Rescues on friday (open to xolos or xolo mixes only). If you would like to attend, contact me and I can give you the details of any of these events (GaryArmitageCC@...). I am coordinator of the Party and the Parade and will be working with the XRUSA booth committee as well. This weekend is also the site for Rarity Breed Shows, so you have the opportunity to see other rare breeds as well!
Every year we expand our xolo family, and I hope to meet many more of you this year!
Hi all! Announcing this summer's Xolo events! XCUSA will be holding their Regional and National events at the Clackamette Park in Oregon City, Oregon on July 25th - 27th. Along with this, there are several events for those folks with xolos who are not involved in showing their xolos. You do not have to be a XCUSA member to attend!
The Parade of Companions and Rescues will be held at the park on Friday, July 25th. This is open to those xolos (must be xolo or xolo mix to participate) who are our companions! I am coordinating this event. If interested in joining the other xolos in this group, send me a story about your xolo (100 words or less) and a $10 entry fee made out to XCUSA (email me for my mailing address). XCUSA is graciously donating 50% of the entry fees to Xolo Rescue USA to assist in the medical care - neuter/spay of rescues. While you parade your xolo I will read your xolo's story. You will receive a memory token in this event for participating.
also on Friday, July 25th, we will be holding the 10th annual PNW Nekkid Dog Party! This is a pot luck event with lots of fun events (games for xolos and their canine friends and their humans) as well as a wonderful chance to meet and chat with old and new xolo associations! If you would like to attend, let me know you are coming, and what you can bring for the potluck so we can arrange/prepare accordingly. If you have party idea, also let me know!
Finally, enjoy watching xolos of all shapes and sizes as they are competing in conformation and the other events planned thru out the weekend.
If you plan to come and need accommodations, there are several motels very close to the park! I can help you with that as well!
....the xolo parties have been the highlite of my life for 10 yrs! I look forward to seeing those of you and your xolos I've missed since we were last together, and meeting those of you and your xolos I have not yet met!
The Xoloitzcuintle Rescue USA is pleased to release our preliminary web site.
We wanted to go public before the show 10/20-21.
There are already some things I've noticed need to be changed, but
those changes will need to be changed but that will have to wait
until after the show.

I'm happy to announce that we are well on the way to Annie being
adopted. She will be going to live on one of the islands outside of
Seattle! Thanks to all that inquired about her, I do feel we found
her a perfect match and we can't ask for more than that!
