Action Rats is a list for Rat Terrier owners who train their Rats in performance events for shows or just for fun! Discussion is limited to any aspect of training Rat Terriers for performance. Members discuss methods of training and their suitability to our energetic, intelligent and sensitive Rats. All Rat terrier owners are welcome, whether their rats are Coated, Hairless, Teddy, Toy, Mini, Standard, Decker Giant or mixed! We are a friendly group! Some of the topics that may be discussed are showing/trialing, clicker training, canine freestyle (dancing), flyball, weight pull, movie work, go-to-ground, terrier racing, pet therapy, hiking and tracking. Special emphasis is placed on positive reinforcement, agility and obedience. This is a list for people that enjoy training their dogs to DO something.
