I'm looking at getting a bird book and wanted some feedback from others. My
current book is the Robert Armstrong book (Guide to the Birds of Alaska)
copyright
1984. I bought it a long, long time ago at a used book store in Anchorage.

I just did some looking on line for more recent copies and found the 2008
edition
for just over $20, plus the 1995 edition for about half that amount. How much
difference is there between the two books? Is it worth the price to go with the
newer edition, or is the older just as good?

Thanks,

Dorey Harman
Nikiski
