Some of you 'may already that I hurt my back a few years back coming off a horse
while endurance racing. It ended up pretty bad, a dislocated vertebrae. Then
once again I came off when a wildlife manager rode up under my greenbroke horse
on a 4 wheeler mule at a field trial. Then I hit the frozen ground hard at a
trial in Ill. Trying to remount my horse from the wheel fenders of a horse
trailer. That fall was probably the straw that broke the camels back. On April
24th, 2008, I had to have back surgery to repair a very broken back. Once out
of surgery the doctors stated that there were two broken vertrebrea instead of
one as they expected. One of those vertrebrae was cutting pretty badly into my
spinal cord. That if I had waited 30 more days, a wheelchair and I would have
become very best friends. LOL. Even tho the recovery period was longer than
expected (I am still in it) and I am not completely pain free, God has truely
blessed me that I am walking (I seriously) doubt if I will win any races), and
Than The Lord that I will be able to ride a horse eventually (I have even found
one that I think will work for me) so that I can attend trials and maybe even
run my own dog, Pogo. It looks like the first few trials will be walking
trials. So the help I need is to find a talented woodcarver that makes walking
sticks that could make me one with a Brittany design on it. Someone who could
listen to my thoughts and customize one for me. If anyone knows of such a
woodcarver please email me privately with his or hers contact information.
Thanks for your help!
