American Indian Horse Club

This is the message board of the American Indian Horse Registry. The purpose of this club is to be a communication point for Owners of AIHs, people who have horses who could qualify for registry in the American Indian Horse Registry and for people who are interested in learning about them. I will add website links to breeders, post show, trailride and endurance ride information as I receive it. Please feel free to add info, ask questions and participate in a seemly fashion.

For those of you who are curious about my mare Scarlet, I'm posting this to celebrate her 20th birthday. Besides being AIHR and a HOF holder, she's a registered Appaloosa. I got her as a 3 month old because she had no spots. During our life together, she has been a show horse, a trail horse, an endurance horse, a certified Search and Rescue Horse, and is now my 'service' horse as I cope with Gulf War Syndrome. Her bloodlines are Price Plaudet on the top and Colida on the bottom. Some relatives have been reining horses. But she's my saddle pal in all ways possible.
