animal_net is an international list with representatives from more than 40 countries.

animal_net wants to
-promote general interest in non-human animals
-offer the opportunity to exchange information about animals and vegetarianism in English
-facilitate cross-border cooperation.

animal_net asks subscribers
-to post only in English
-to keep postings clean and short (generally an introduction plus the reference link will suffice)
-to restrict postings to information only since animal_net is not designed as a list for discussions
-not to send boycott calls targeting countries
-not to malign nations
-not to send information about adoptions
-not to send anonymous appeals and information.

All people and organizations of good will are very welcome to join this dynamic community.
