Hi there, I'm Sean Monson A member of the American Killifish Association with A deep love and appreciation of this beautifull and rare killifish. I've set up this forum in the hopes that those interested in keeping, breeding & maintaining these rare jewels will share thier experiences, experiments, failures & successes with everyone else interested in them to help more of us be successfull with them and be able to distribute them among all who are seriously interested in helping to propagate them.

They need fairly large tanks, only one male per tank and lots of plants due to severe aggression by the males. Cold, clean, soft, well oxygenated water is A must (60-64 f.) year round. Assorted live food and breeding in the natural way is preffered (removing the babies from the floating plants in the parents tank to A tank with water from the parents tank). Small regular water changes are prefferable.
