VOTE ON EQUIPMENT PURCHASE

 

Rationale:  One of the goals of ARF in holding trials and hosting raffles is to raise money to buy agility equipment for Club practices and future trials.  From trials, raffles, and membershipdues, ARF currently has a balance of $8,087.17. 

 

At the April meeting, a motion was passed requesting that the board hold an electronic vote of active ARF members to request authority to spend $2060.00 from the treasury to purchase the following agility equipment for the club:

 

       12' dog walk with fixed legs (no slats) and metal frame sections      $895

       Adjustable legs for dog walk                                                           $50  

       A-Frame with two 3' x 9' panels (no slats) with wheels                   $665

       Lightweight rubber for contact equipment & teeter                          $450                                               

      *Total                                                                                          $2060

 

If members approve the purchase, the equipment will be purchased from Tom Kruger and the rubber for the contact equipment will be purchased from NADAC.   

 

Shipping is not known at this time as in the past equipment has been shuttled to the destination by volunteers who were going to be in either the pick-up or drop-off area.  The board will look for volunteers to bring the equipment to Helena.

 

ARF MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO SUBMIT VOTES TO JONI AND CARBON COPY STUART ON THE PROPOSED EQUIPMENT PURCHASE ON OR BEFORE 5:00 P.M., MAY 18, AS FOLLOWS:
