She didn't need to go to the vet after all.  After separating her from the food
and other cats last night, she threw up two more times.  One of them was another
hairball, smaller than the one from Tuesday night.  She hasn't thrown up since. 
I'm guessing the food would hit the hairball and come back out.  Once no more
food went in, out it came.  Thank goodness!!  Thank you for your quick response,
too!

Hairball is the most likely.. a bit young for the nasty tumour causes..but
for those that like to be pessimistic then triaditis (pancreatitis,
duodenitis, ascending cholagniohepatitis) would be next most likely.. then
moving on with unplasant conditions .. congenital kidney or heart disease,
salmonella and other foreign objects ingested..
