As has been reported over the past few weeks, there has been a great deal of cetacean related activity around the Sapphire Coast area of southern NSW. I received yet another report this morning from two colleagues currently in the area. On top of the continuing Humpback feeding, Killer Whales, Brydes Whale, Minke Whale Bottlenose and large numbers of Common Dolphin sightings, we can now add 7 Sperm Whales offshore. Interestingly, the Sperm Whales were located at almost the exact location where the sightings were recorded in the March April time frame of this year.
