Separate the frog and hand feed (rubber tipped forceps). A light misting beforehand will wake the frog up a bit rather than having it startled by a food item...

yeh make sure it has plenty of hiding spots, so it can feel secure. some frogs are more timid/shy than others, and naturally they will feel to 'scared' to eat...
