This group welcomes people who are committed to or would like to learn more about the principle of barefoot horses living in as natural a way as practicable. It aims to facilitate an informed and open exchange of knowledge and experience with the view of continuously improving the quality of equine barefoot trimming, holistic lameness rehabilitation and natural lifestyle.
The guiding principles are that healthy, properly functioning feet are essential to the optimal functioning of all the horse's biological systems and its mental health. The form of the hoof must facilitate its key functions of circulation, shock absorption, mechanical protection and traction.
