This list is open to all owners of all breeds for all purposes including family-pet issues -- other than aggression -- as well as competition matters including: Competition (trials, tests, agility, obedience, etc.), Sports (flyball, Frisbee, etc), and Conformation (show).

All members will direct their questions to Stephen Rafe, list owner/moderator, for response. Others are invited to respond ONLY after he has replied. Stephen has a Master of Science degree, is pursuing a doctoral degree, and has completed more than six years of college courses in psychology, behavior, and communication. He also teaches behavior-based communication subjects and research methods at the university level. He has been a canine-behavior counselor for more than 20 years. His work has been endorsed by many leading names in the field and he has more than 300 by-lined articles published on this subject.

This list is dedicated solely to furthering the knowledge and application of POSITIVE, humane, behaviorally sound methods and techniques through a mutual sharing of information. A member who advocates harsh, punishment, or negative methods will be banned after one warning. It is not a "chat" list. Brags, jokes, poems, memorials, etc. -- along with flames and spam -- will cause the posting individual to be banned.
